3. Conclusion
The advancements made in the field of finance have uncovered multiple research questions that still need to be addressed. This paper proposes many future research questions and highlights the relevance of the research proposed. Being the results of a crowdsourcing experiment that consisted of asking international experts in the field of financial research to contribute to an overview of the current state of knowledge in their field, this paper will be valuable to fellow researchers and practitioners who can use it as a source of inspiration for their own work. It is one of the first studies of it’s kind to unite researchers from different fields and publish their ambitions for future research, and their conception of important research questions to address.
